I saw The Alarm in approx 1984 when the opened for The Pretenders in West Palm Beach area, or was it Billy Idol they opened for, in any event, they were absolutely tremendous, they were really going off in the house! I wish they would do another tour and come to Florida. There is so much spirit and intensity to their live performance.

T was introduced to The Alam when they opened for the Pretenders in Passaic, NJ. Had never heard of them prior to seeing them. so I went in with an open mind, not knowing what to expect. After a kick-ass set, I left Passaic that night as a fan of The Alarm and have been a huge fan ever since. Got to see them several times in small venues through the years. One night they played Lafayette Collenge in a raging snowstorm. Small crowd, but what a set, they played for over 3 hours.
