These are Hmong Burmese. I saw two video by Sue Thao and ST.Universal Video a few years ago. I recognized the clothing instantly. In the Sue Thao videos, some of the Hmong kids went to Chinese Missionary schools; therefore, they were able to learn Mandarin. The Hmong in Burma speak like the Hmong in Yunnan provinces in China.

Wow, interesting video! I can't say for sure where this video was taken but I am positive, these are Hmong people. I remember seeing a photo of a Hmong woman in Thailand from the early 1900's with the same head dress (only hers was much bigger) as seen on the women in the first half of this clip. That photo was inscribed with a description something along the lines of "Meo woman in bridal head dress."

they do appear like they're from burma. we have a video of this hmong pastor visiting hmong-burmanese christians and they wore similar clothes. also, one of the women in the video fixed one of the girls' turban just like the lady in this video.

The Hmong-Burmese speak like the Hmong in Yunnan China. It is just this video that the young Hmong didn't speak Hmong. Some of them went to Chinese Missionary school, therefore, they learned the Chinese language. If I am not mistaken or wrong, there's a group of Hmong reside in Mandalay, Burma.

Omg, i just got it. My mom used to tell me stories about how Hmong people have a pointy hair piece like a horn sticking out. It is known as a Yi Twb or Horn. The Women used make their hair like that long time ago, now they just use cloth instead of their hair.
