so how're you? ( see would one that insults say that, i think not :) )
i meant unique yankee :) so certainly is a compliment, "weird" doesnt always have to be negative. lighten up love.
making you a yankee doodle :)
but i'm an englishman that was born overseas in new zealand :O
and in reality i'm michael age 16 :) that is soon to start training in the royal navy :D
i know where the term yankee comes from :D
a British General called James Wolfe in 1758 used to refer to his soilders under his command in the new england regiment of the british army as yankees :) isnt history fun.
and "yankee" or "yank" are neither negative or positive, they just mean american.
they can be used in a negative context, but that doesnt make it derogatory.
it's just a nickname, like how your people used to call the english and british "limeys"
or new zealanders get called kiwis, and so on.
back to the point, never seen this vid its pretty good how it shows the fact that if the queen were to try an have fun she'd be pretty damn limited as to what shed be aloud to do.
If some do, that's their prerogative. Not all of us do/will, however.
and tbh yankee/yank is a better name than american. as that's calling you after a whole continent. so where as yankee is more definitive, so wether you like it or not, many people will say yankee. and plus it's much better than some of the other nicknames for US people such as "Fat", "idiot", "
retarded", "start too many wars and lose half of them", " dnt prounounce words properlly" and "burger bashers"
é, but remember: It takes two to keep a conversation going ;]
